Electric Heaters for Manufacturing
Industrial heating components for moulds, dies, extruders, ovens, sealing equipment and production-line process heat. Supplied to the specifications your equipment demands.
Mould and Die Heating
Cartridge heaters are a standard heating component in manufacturing tooling. Moulds for injection moulding, compression moulding, blow moulding and die casting all rely on cartridge heaters to bring the tool to operating temperature and maintain it through production cycles. The heater must fit the bored hole precisely: a tight bore fit ensures efficient heat transfer from the heater surface to the surrounding tool steel, while a loose fit forces the heater to run hotter, shortening its service life.
For manufacturing applications, selecting the right watt density matters as much as selecting the right diameter and length. Higher watt densities deliver heat faster but require better bore fit and more thermally conductive surroundings to avoid premature burnout. Our team reviews your bore dimensions, target temperature and cycle requirements before quoting.
Extrusion and Barrel Heating
Band heaters wrap around the barrels of extruders and injection moulding machines. Mica band heaters are commonly used for plastics processing temperatures. Ceramic band heaters extend the temperature range for engineering resins and high-temperature polymers. Correct barrel zone coverage, wattage per zone and thermocouple placement all affect the consistency of the melt temperature and the quality of the extruded or moulded product.
Nozzle heaters and hot runner coil heaters complete the heating chain from barrel to mould. These components must match the nozzle dimensions and wattage requirements of the specific machine and runner system.
Ovens, Sealing and Process Equipment
Strip heaters, finned heaters and tubular heating elements serve the rest of the manufacturing floor. Strip heaters bolt onto sealing bars, packaging jaws and lamination platens. Finned tubular elements heat air in industrial ovens, curing chambers and drying tunnels. Open coil heaters provide direct air heating in ducted systems.
Heating elements for ovens and dryers are common replacement items. Matching the element type, wattage, dimensions and termination to the existing equipment ensures a direct drop-in replacement without modification.
Temperature Measurement
Thermocouples are essential for closed-loop temperature control on manufacturing equipment. Matching the thermocouple type, probe length, sheath material and connector to the controller and application ensures accurate process monitoring. We supply standard thermocouple types alongside our heater products.
