Electric Heaters for Logistics and Warehousing
Drum heaters, heat tracing cables, immersion heaters and heating elements for freeze protection, viscosity maintenance and temperature-controlled handling across the supply chain.
Drum and Container Heating
Many materials stored and shipped in drums become too viscous to pour or pump at ambient temperatures, especially during cooler months. Drum heaters wrap around or sit beneath standard steel or plastic drums to maintain the contents at a workable temperature. Common applications include heating oils, adhesives, resins, food-grade liquids and chemical intermediates before dispensing.
Selecting a drum heater depends on the drum size, the material of the drum (steel or HDPE), the target temperature and whether temperature control is needed. Share these details in your enquiry along with the material being heated for a proper recommendation.
Pipeline and Vessel Freeze Protection
Heat tracing cables prevent liquids in exposed pipelines and small vessels from freezing during cold weather or from falling below a required minimum temperature. In logistics facilities, trace heating protects water lines, sprinkler systems and process pipelines.
Trace heater selection depends on the pipe diameter, the ambient temperature, insulation details and the target maintain temperature. The cable technology affects the power output and installation approach. Describe your pipeline and conditions for an appropriate recommendation.
Liquid Heating for Storage and Transfer
Immersion heaters heat liquids directly in tanks, vessels and containers. In logistics and warehousing, they serve applications such as heating wash water for cleaning systems, maintaining tank temperatures for temperature-sensitive products and preheating fluids for transfer.
Flanged and screw-plug immersion heaters mount directly into tanks. The sheath material and watt density must match the liquid being heated. Over-the-side immersion heaters offer installation flexibility without modifying the tank.
Air and Space Heating
For heated loading docks, packaging areas and workspace zones, tubular heaters, finned heaters and air heaters can provide localised or ducted air heating. Electric space heaters serve smaller zones within larger warehouse environments.
Air curtains at doorways help maintain temperature separation between heated and unheated zones, reducing heat loss when dock doors open.
